The Hamamatsu International Wind Instrument Academy and Festival celebrates its 23rd season this year and will be held from Aug.1 to August 6, 2017 at the Act City Hamamatsu.

World renowned musicians gather from the world to give first-class concerts and lessons. Total of 2,900 people from home and abroad have completed the 5-day seminar to receive impassioned lessons.

Student Privileges

Premium Concert
Student can get exclusive privileges such as performing at academy's Premium Concert.
ACT New Artist Series 2018
Among students playing at the Premium Concert, a top performer will be chosen by faculty and given a chance to appear in ACT New Artist Series 2018 to be held in Hamamatsu Cultural Foundation.

Wind Instruments Factory Tour
Participants can visit the world's largest wind instrument factory. (The factory tour will be held on Aug. 1 Application for the tour is required in advance.)
You can see dynamic manufacturing process of wind instruments in front of your eyes.
