About the Academy

When will I receive the results of the pre-selection?
Around mid-June, we will notify the applicants directly via e-mail.
Please note that we do not accept inquiries over the phone.
How can I find the schedule of the program?
The schedule during the program can be confirmed on this website.
I would like to know my lesson schedule. Can I specify my individual lesson times?
Please contact the administration office. The lesson schedule for active participants will be determined by the administration office, but if there are unavoidable circumstances, adjustments can be made in consultation with the office. In such cases, coordination with other students may be necessary, and there may be days with double lesson hours, so please be aware of that in advance.
How many lessons may I take, and how long is each lesson?
There are three lessons during the program, each lasting 40 minutes. The number of lessons is fixed and will not change. The number of lessons will not be reduced or increased for the Academy's convenience.
However, the Academy will not be held responsible if the number of lessons is reduced for the student's convenience.
Are practice rooms available during the Academy?
There are practice rooms available for (active) participants, but the number of the rooms is limited. Please check the details with organizer office on-site for details.
What instruments will be provided by the academy?
Yamaha's concert grade 5-octave marimbas (both YM-6100 and YM-5100A) will be provided in each room for lessons and practice.
